And a truly hellish queue experience, given that the ride is 30 seconds long. A better use of one's time is the line for Space Mountain.
  • Topiary Gardens and Waiting Queue Area, Mad for the Mouse (guest) wrote 15 years ago:
One of the most beautiful areas of the park in terms of landscaping and vegetation...look for the different varieties of flowers!

How does one ride on the clock? Does one grab the minute hand and hang on for dear life?

Admiral Mitch probably flew the jet into the park for a perfect No.2 wire tailhook landing at his retirement ceremony.
  • Sal's Bit of Italy, phiz wrote 16 years ago:
Used to have a great kitchen with a decent menu. After ownership changes, now reduced to weak shadow of it's former self. Stuffed pizza is still noteworthy however current ownership / staff obviously lack prior culinary experience or dedication to service.
  • Orange County Bread of Life Church, phiz wrote 16 years ago:
Photo is side view of church located at the corner of Cypress and Claudina Streets. A white wooden fence, with chicken wire is visible on the side. Palm trees and other trees are on the church grounds.

I hated to hear it was gone...It was the best bar in Anaheim...actually one of the better ones around in CA....to have fun, kick back and enjoy the scenery...Miss it..
  • Grand Legacy At The Park Hotel, gjsullivan (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Stayed there in 2009. It was a decent clean hotel. great rate $88 two queen beds, free breakfast was pretty skimpy, free internet was hit and miss on connections. Best rate close to Disney entrance.
  • Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room , gjsullivan (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Love this show. This is the one to go to. Too bad they changed the one at Disney world to new management with Yago. They should change it back to the original.
  • Gadget's Go Coaster, gjsullivan (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
It is a fun little roller coaster for little kids
  • Snow White's Enchanted Wish, Dizzyland (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Disneyland lore #152: The apple in the Wicked Witch's hand used to be real*, but it had to be replaced so many times from people swiping it that the Imagineers installed the hologram effect we now see today. *By this, I mean plastic, wood, or who knows? Styrofoam. All I know is it was stealable. Did I just invent a new word? Oh yeah.
  • Matterhorn Way, Dizzyland (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Qeueing up for the Matterhorn? Head on over to the other side of the mountain near the far reaches of the Autopia tracks instead. This side gets too much traffic from peeps entering through the plaza and Fantasyland runoff.
