  • Tomorrowland Terrace Stage, Anonymous (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
The stage has been in four incarnations over the years. The 2cd incarnation is what is shown in this picture. The various incarnations are... 1. The original added during the first tomorowland renovation. 2.The 2cd was added in 1998 3. Club Buzz stage. 4. The fourth is a new version of the original exept insted of having a pure white paint job the new one has blue, silver, and white
  • Starcade, Anonymous (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
Added to Tommorowland during the addition of Space Mountain, The Star Cade has an arcade on the bottom floor. The top floor has a giant model of an X-Wing and a window that the People Mover/Rocket Rods track passes by.

You order your meal on a machine and hand an employee your receipt. It's a little confusing at first, but definitely quicker and a little more fun than the old fashioned way. =]

This ride makes me so proud to be Californian! lol, Definitely the first thing we get fast passes for and the one ride you don't want to miss if this is your first time here.

The coolest thing in CA Adventure! When you're tired and need a break, come sit down and watch some Disney songs in a room that changes to adapt to the movie. Then you can learn how to draw some of your favorite Disney characters in the animation section, tour what characters originally looked like, talk turtle with crush, or find out what Disney character you'd be by taking a quiz in the Beast's library. Don't forget to put your voice into a genuine Disney scene or song in Ursula's cave. I'm telling you, the COOLEST part about CA Adventure...

Sooo overpriced but AMAZING on a hot summer day. SCHMOOZIES! lol
  • Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, hum_dinger10 wrote 18 years ago:
this is the site of the former Eeyore parking lot before they built the ride and before CA Adventure. If you ask the cast members about it when you're in the room showing the projection about the discovery of the temple they'll flash a light onto an Eeyore sign you can still see in the very back of the room. =]
  • Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse "Partners" Statue, hum_dinger10 wrote 18 years ago:
^^ not really, often there are too many trees in the way... I'd say the best place is right in front of the trees and bushes in front of this statue, facing the castle.

  • Haunted Mansion Structure, rick (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
It isn't really "underground"; you can see the building that houses the actual ride to the southwest of the "Haunted Mansion" building visible from Disneyland. The elevator is needed to go under the Disneyland railroad tracks.
  • Pooh Corner, sixalex6 wrote 18 years ago:
Okay, adults. This one is very fun even without the kids. If you grew up in the 60's you'll know exactly what I mean, but it is a blast even without any extra help ;)
  • Haunted Mansion Structure, sixalex6 wrote 18 years ago:
Yes the ride is underground! If you note as you enter, the "stretching room" is actually a large elevator. Further along the ride you descend quite noticably into the "Graveyard" area later to to rise at a steep angle back up to park level. It is similar to Pirates of the Caribbean and quite a marvel of set design and imagineering. Limited space? No problem for Disney!

  • Main Street Fruit Cart, sixalex (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
It's the ice buckets. They are deeper than the other carts and the bottles get buried in ice. The bananas are better in the evening after they ripen, but the rest of the fruit is delicious all day long. Right next door is the coffee shop with checker boards. Great place to cool off in the middle of the day and relax without having to just sit still.
